Tal Titu, one of the standout contestants on Big Brother, was eliminated on Saturday night and finished in ninth place, in a vote that shocked viewers. Before her exit, she had already been at the center of a controversy involving Eliran Biton and his wife, Noya Biton.
Noya came to Neve Ilan and shouted at Titu, "Don't touch a married man." The message shook the house and hit Titu especially hard. At the time, she said, "I even thought Noya liked me because I take care of him like a brother," and later told Eliran, "It has gotten to the point that I can't even look you in the eye."
Speaking Tuesday night on Reshet 13's The Pipe, Titu said she had also discussed the matter with her partner, Tamir. "I have a lot of male friends, for me we are equal. All the men in the house were like my brothers, and with Eliran I had the most respect. When Noya shouted, I didn't even understand it was about me," she said.
Asked whether she would accept another woman touching her partner like that, Titu replied that relationship boundaries should be handled first between partners. "I won't expect anyone else to deal with it. I think the responsibility is on Eliran, and in the end also on me. Eliran and I talked a lot about Noya," she said. Asked if she has spoken with Noya since, Titu said, "Not yet, I'm still processing it. But in the end, touch is a hug."
