A tractor overturned near Ein Qiniyye in the northern Golan Heights on Wednesday, killing a man in his 40s and injuring another man in his 30s. The crash was reported at 3:51 p.m. to Magen David Adom’s 101 dispatch center in the Jordan region.
MDA crews reached the scene and found two casualties. The older man was inside the overturned tractor, unconscious, without a pulse or breathing, and suffering a severe head injury. After medical checks, paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.
The second man, in his 30s, was hurt moderately and suffered limb injuries. He was treated at the scene and evacuated in stable condition to Ziv Hospital in Safed.
MDA emergency medic Samer Safdi said responders found the tractor lying on its side. According to people at the scene, the two had been traveling on a farm road when the tractor flipped. Ein Qiniyye is a Druze village in northern Golan Heights, near Mount Hermon and close to Majdal Shams.
