Former MK Einat Wilf Joins Yoaz Hendel's Technical Bloc
Former Knesset Member Dr. Einat Wilf, who leads the 'Oz' party, has joined the technical bloc formed by Yoaz Hendel and Professor Yaron Zelekha. Wilf previously served as a Knesset member for the Labor and Independence factions and has been active in public diplomacy and policy in recent years. Hendel welcomed Wilf's addition to the bloc, which aims to unite forces in the final days before the deadline for submitting party lists for the upcoming elections.
The move is part of an effort by centrist-right parties to consolidate, overcome the electoral threshold, and prevent vote wastage. The alliance combines Hendel's focus on security and appeal to the religious Zionist public, Wilf's diplomatic and public advocacy agenda, and Zelekha's economic campaign against monopolies and the high cost of living.
Political analysts believe Wilf's joining the bloc, alongside other parties vying to pass the electoral threshold, adds to the political drama in the crucial final two days of list submissions.
