Glenfiddich Launches Limited Edition 16-Year-Old Scotch in Israel With Aston Martin F1
Global Wine & Spirit, a leading Israeli alcohol distributor, is introducing a limited edition Glenfiddich 16 Years Global Wine & Spirit single malt Scotch whisky in Israel. This premium release is a collaboration with the Aston Martin Formula 1 team, continuing a partnership between the two iconic brands.
The whisky celebrates the meticulous work of individuals often behind the scenes, highlighting Glenfiddich Malt Master Brian Kinsman and Aston Martin Technical Director Adrian Newey. Their shared philosophy emphasizes precision, balance, and countless small decisions leading to significant results, whether in crafting whisky or designing race cars.
The Glenfiddich 16 Years is a 16-year-old single malt with a complex flavor profile, achieved through maturation in five different cask types. This process imparts a creamy texture, toffee and caramelized sugar sweetness, and subtle dry wood notes, complementing Glenfiddich's signature fruitiness. The aroma features stewed fruits, floral notes, marzipan, and polished leather, with a long, sweet, and elegant finish. The whisky has an alcohol by volume of 43%.
Following high demand and strong sales from a previous Glenfiddich and Aston Martin collaboration, Global Wine & Spirit is bringing this special 16-year-old edition to Israel. The company views its release as a testament to the whisky's significance and the growing Israeli market for premium spirits.
