PayBox Partners With FOX Group for Discounted Digital Gift Cards
Israeli payment app PayBox has launched a new initiative to simplify group gift-giving by integrating with FOX Group's popular DREAM CARD. Starting Monday, users can purchase these digital gift cards directly through the PayBox app, offering a 15% discount.
This collaboration aims to solve the common challenge of collecting money for group gifts, such as for teachers, colleagues, or friends. Previously, organizers had to coordinate purchases from various stores. Now, they can convert collected funds into a gift card valid at over 1,000 stores nationwide, including major brands like Nike, Foot Locker, Shils, Laline, and JUMBO, in addition to FOX's own brands.
The purchase process is designed to be intuitive within the app, allowing for multiple purchases, scheduled delivery, and personalized messages. The recipient receives the digital gift card directly into their PayBox account, where it remains securely stored until fully redeemed.
PayBox CEO Arik Frishman stated that the partnership with FOX Group is a significant step, aligning with their vision to offer unique value propositions at attractive prices to their millions of users. Itay Levin, CEO of FOX Group's Business Division, added that the collaboration naturally connects how people pool money for gifts with the delivery of a valuable present, making the process simpler, more convenient, and more affordable for various groups.
This move follows recent upgrades by PayBox for group managers, including an increase in the maximum monthly transfer limit for group funds to NIS 10,000 in August, and the removal of restrictions requiring the use of a PayBox card, now accepting all credit cards.
