Top Rabbi Visits Beit She'an Community, Praises Growth
Rabbi Shraga Shtienman, a member of the Council of Torah Sages, visited the developing Lithuanian community in Beit She'an last weekend. Rabbi Shtienman, who serves as the community's president, delivered a special address to the scholars and their families ahead of the High Holy Days, focusing on the community's growth and spiritual development.
During his visit to the Torah center at the "Kol Gila" synagogue, Rabbi Shtienman spoke about the importance of the community's location and its role in fostering Torah study. The visit highlights the rapid expansion of the Lithuanian community in Beit She'an, established just two and a half years ago. The community now comprises over 20 families, with more families having purchased homes and in the process of relocating.
