Panelist Accuses Host of Being Manipulated on Live TV

During a live broadcast of the Channel 14 program "The Patriots," a segment intended for audience members to deliver short messages to the nation took a surprising political turn. As the show neared its end, host Yinon Magal invited audience members to speak. Three young individuals came forward, but after they finished, it was revealed they were not random viewers but members of the youth wing of the Otzma Yehudit party.

This revelation gained significance because earlier in the same broadcast, Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir and Knesset Member Tally Gottlieb, both associated with Otzma Yehudit, had been interviewed together. The appearance of the three party youth members shortly after the interview created an impression among those in the studio that Otzma Yehudit representatives had secured a particularly prominent presence throughout the program and at its conclusion.

Panelist Irit Linor addressed this situation directly. After the young men concluded their messages, she turned to Magal and remarked, "How they pull the wool over your eyes every time." Linor's comment implied that Otzma Yehudit members had seemingly leveraged the open invitation to the audience to gain additional airtime and extend the party's visibility on the broadcast.
