Activist Yoseph Haddad Rules Out Alliance With Gantz, Cites Hamas Stance

Yoseph Haddad, a prominent pro-Israel activist who recently joined the "Am Israel" party led by Ofer Winter, stated in a live interview that the party will not sit with any political leader who refuses to unequivocally label Hamas as a terrorist organization. Haddad, speaking on i24NEWS' "Talking News" program with Eliraz Sade, outlined his party's vision, emphasizing their right-wing alignment and commitment to a "clean and new campaign."

Haddad specifically mentioned Benny Gantz, stating that neither he, Winter, nor any other party member would cooperate with a leader unwilling to condemn Hamas. He also pointed to a specific candidate within another party, identified as number six, who allegedly defended the terrorist Ahlam Tamimi. Haddad further criticized Gantz's past statements, recalling that Gantz had previously disqualified Winter from serving as Defense Minister under his government.

Haddad interpreted Gantz's past remarks as an indication that Gantz favors "containment" over decisive action against adversaries, contrasting this with Winter's approach. "Therefore, Winter will be the Defense Minister," Haddad asserted, expressing confidence in Winter's ability to lead Israel out of its current strategic thinking.

Regarding his personal aspirations, Haddad declared his ambition to become Israel's Minister of Public Diplomacy. He aims to transform the ministry into a "flak jacket" for the Ministry of Defense and the IDF, countering what he described as damaging anti-Israel propaganda that has hindered military operations. Haddad believes his ministry would provide crucial support and protection for the IDF's actions.
