Israeli Teen Oran Goren Shines in Barcelona B Debut
Israeli teenager Oran Goren made his debut for Barcelona B on Sunday, playing a key role in their opening match of the fourth division league against UE Cornellà. Goren, wearing number 28, started the game and contributed significantly, including assisting the team's third goal.
The assist came in the 77th minute when Goren set up Iker Guarner for his third goal of the match, following a strong individual effort. Goren also created other scoring opportunities, finding teammates like Shane Kluivert and taking shots himself. He was responsible for delivering set pieces for the reserve team in their first game of the season.
Guarner had opened the scoring in the second minute and added another goal in the 36th minute, both assisted by player Adzje. Barcelona B's next match will be against Logroñés B. The league also features reserve teams from Espanyol, Osasuna, and Girona. Goren, at 16 years old, is one of the youngest players on the Barcelona B squad.
