Ben Gvir and Gottlieb Appear on "The Patriots" After Party Merger

National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir announced that Knesset Member Tali Gottlieb has joined his Otzma Yehudit party, stating she will be placed second on the list. The two politicians, who have recently generated significant public discussion in Israel, appeared on the television program "The Patriots" on Channel 14 on Sunday evening.

Gottlieb had left the Likud party earlier in the month to join Ben Gvir's Otzma Yehudit. An agreement was reached between Likud and Gottlieb allowing her to move to Ben Gvir's party without officially being declared as having resigned from Likud, thus avoiding parliamentary consequences. This move followed tensions and disagreements with Likud's leadership and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu regarding her placement on the party list and the party's conduct.

In a statement, Ben Gvir welcomed Gottlieb, calling her a "true warrior" fighting against injustice, for justice, against the "deep state," and against the "persecution of our dear Prime Minister." He expressed pride and happiness in her joining the "Otzma Yehudit family."
