A review of 2025 police data highlights several cities and towns that offer a strong sense of security.
Ra'anana, a well-established city in central Israel, stands out with exceptionally low rates of reported sex offenses, crimes against persons, and crimes against the body, at just 0.248% in the first nine months of 2025. Despite its size and urban amenities, the city maintains good personal safety statistics, complemented by a family-friendly atmosphere, numerous parks, and a sought-after education system.
Modi'in-Maccabim-Re'ut, designed with families in mind, consistently ranks among the safest cities for property and violent crimes. Its urban planning emphasizes residential neighborhoods, parks, and pedestrian paths, integrating safety into daily life. Its location between Jerusalem and Tel Aviv offers accessibility without the density of the Gush Dan area.
