Handel and Zlicha Vow to 'Run to the End' in Political Bid
Yoaz Handel, chairman of the Reservists' Forum, announced at a press conference alongside his new partner, economist Yoran Zlicha, that they intend to "run to the end" in their political endeavors. Zlicha pledged to "fight the tycoons and the high cost of living" and also to promote "full service for everyone." Addressing their standing within their political movement, Zlicha stated that "first place is arbitrary. We are both in first place," implying a shared leadership or equal importance.
Handel, who recently resigned from his role as Minister of Communications, has joined forces with Zlicha, a former candidate for the Bank of Israel governor position. Their partnership aims to present a united front in the upcoming political landscape, focusing on economic issues and national service. The press conference marked a significant step in formalizing their alliance and outlining their core campaign messages.
