Volunteers Distribute Flowers at Ashdod Train Station to Spread Joy

Passengers at the Ashdod train station received a warm and surprising welcome last Thursday afternoon when volunteers from the "Migdalor" community arrived to distribute flowers. The initiative, part of the "We Came to Spread Joy" project, aimed to bring smiles, promote good deeds, and offer a moment of happiness to residents on their way home.

The event was organized by "Migdalor," Ashdod's municipal volunteer community, which spearheads various initiatives throughout the year to foster a sense of belonging, volunteerism, and mutual responsibility in the city. Participants included representatives from the Community Development Department, students from Makif Alef high school, volunteers from the Community Resources and Volunteering Department, the manager of District B, and the "Tikvatenu" community center.

All involved united with the goal of strengthening community ties, demonstrating that a simple gesture like a flower and a smile can positively impact people's day. The "Migdalor" community deemed the activity successful and pledged to continue organizing further social initiatives across Ashdod to keep spreading joy within the community.
