Cinema and Electricity Chain Appoints New CEO Amid Expansion Plans

The electronics and appliance retail chain, Cinema and Electricity, has announced the appointment of Daniel Bar Sade as its new CEO. Bar Sade, who previously served as the company's VP of Marketing and Business Development for three years, takes over leadership during a period of rapid growth.

Bar Sade holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Economics and has extensive experience managing e-commerce sites. Before joining Cinema and Electricity, he was the CEO of YNETSHOPS and GETIT for three years, during which he initiated the import of SMART BIKE electric bicycles to Israel. In his prior role at Cinema and Electricity, he led the rebranding of the chain.

The new appointment aligns with the company's strategic plan to expand its national presence to 30 branches by the end of 2027. The chain operates on a lean and flexible model that allows for parallel imports and competitive pricing. Future plans include entering new product categories such as tools and gardening equipment, with a particular focus on expanding its franchise model, especially within the Arab sector.

"After three years of building the brand and business development at the chain, my entry into the CEO role is a full circle and the beginning of a new path," said Bar Sade. "Our lean and flexible business model allows us to offer the Israeli consumer real price competition and cut out intermediary margins.
