Maccabi Tel Aviv Considers Selling Defender Asante Amid Transfer Activity

Maccabi Tel Aviv is reportedly not ruling out the sale of right-back Tyris Asante, depending on developments in their pursuit of forwards Yonatan Nikolasco and Krvin Andrade. The club is also considering Asante's departure to make space in the squad, particularly following the acquisition of James Tavernier. Asante has seen limited playing time this season due to injuries and illness, but the club values him highly, setting a price tag of approximately 2.5 million euros.

If Maccabi Tel Aviv fails to secure deals for Nikolasco and Andrade, they may consider selling Asante to free up a roster spot, provided a suitable offer materializes. The team is also looking to strengthen its attacking options with an additional Israeli forward if Guy Melamed does not join. Kais Ghanem, who has been performing well for Hapoel Hadera and is recovering from an injury, is among the players being considered, though no formal contact has been made yet.
