Hate Crime Against Noam Party Billboards in Ayalon, MK Avi Maoz Blames Left
Party chairman and Knesset member Avi Maoz reported Sunday that billboards belonging to his party, Noam Israel, were vandalized overnight along the Ayalon highway. Maoz, who leads the far-right, religious Zionist party, stated that the vandalism, which he attributed to the left, only proves the necessity of his party's platform in Israeli politics.
"A little light repels a lot of darkness," Maoz wrote on social media. "The bullying of the left only proves how much 'Noam Israel' is needed in Israeli politics. The people of Israel thirst for our good news."
He concluded his statement by asserting that the party will "continue forward with all our might!" The incident highlights ongoing tensions between different political factions in Israel, particularly concerning religious and social issues.
