Lebanese Health Ministry Reports 4 Dead, 20 Injured in Southern Lebanon Strikes

The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced on Monday that four people were killed and twenty others were injured in Israeli strikes that occurred earlier in the day in southern Lebanon. The ministry did not specify the exact locations of the strikes or the identities of the casualties.

Reports from Lebanese channels indicated that the Israeli military was using drones to drop explosive-filled containers into buildings in the village of Al-Mansouri, detonating them remotely. This method of attack was reportedly employed in the village of Yihmar al-Shakif, near Beaufort, with comparisons made to the area's condition before and after the conflict.

These developments come amidst broader regional tensions. Separately, Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps claimed responsibility for an attack, though details were scarce. Professor Mohammad Marandi, a member of Iran's negotiating delegation, issued a new threat following an American attack on three Iranian oil tankers. In Egypt, a court sentenced Egyptian model Sara Khalifa to death for drug trafficking.

Meanwhile, U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Harkavy visited the Palestinian village of Turmus Ayya in the Ramallah district to assess the situation in the West Bank, particularly concerning Palestinian residents with American citizenship. This visit coincided with reports from Channel 12 attempting to frame the movement of a settler vehicle in Turmus Ayya as an "unusual incident."
