A World Cup broadcast on Channel 11 delivered the night's biggest audience, as France vs. Senegal drew 14.1% viewership, or 443,000 viewers. The live sports drama overtook even the strongest reality shows in the second prime-time slot, showing the continuing pull of major live sporting events.
In the main prime-time battle, Channel 12's "Wedding at First Sight" remained the leading entertainment show with 13.9%, or 366,000 viewers. "Big Brother" on Reshet 13 trailed with 11.1%, or 304,000 viewers. On Channel 14, "The Patriots" posted a solid 6.9%, or 174,000 viewers, and beat Channel 11's pre-match studio show, which reached 7.2% but with a different audience breakdown.
In the news ratings, Channel 12 widened its lead with 11.0%, or 294,000 viewers. Channel 14's news bulletin held second place at 5.5%, or 142,000 viewers. Channels 13 and 11 were close behind, with 4.5% and 4.1% respectively.
In the later prime-time slot, excluding the concurrent World Cup broadcast, "Gai Pines" on Channel 12 edged out "The Pipe" on Channel 13, 6.4% to 6.2%. Channel 14's satire program "Open Your Shay" drew 3.0%.
