This season in the Championship, he averages 2.8 dribbles per game with a 70% success rate, a significant increase from his previous stints in the Championship with Leeds United (1.8 per game), Italy with Fiorentina (1.6 per game), and Spain.

West Ham's tactical setup, featuring two strikers, appears to grant Solomon more freedom on the wing, facilitating his more assertive dribbling approach. While English media noted he could be "a little more versatile," they acknowledged he "did his job." Solomon was substituted in the 77th minute of the Derby match with West Ham leading 1-0; the team extended their lead to 2-0 after his departure and ultimately secured a convincing 3-0 win, climbing the league table.

Despite the positive dribbling statistics, Solomon faced criticism earlier for a missed opportunity on a counter-attack in the 67th minute. West Ham has been in strong form, winning three of their last four matches across all competitions.
