Israeli Footballers Shine in Premier League and Championship Matches

Israeli midfielder Anan Khalaily played a role in Crystal Palace's dramatic 3-2 comeback victory over Fulham in the Premier League on Saturday, securing their first win of the season. Khalaily, making his second consecutive start, was involved in the move that led to the decisive goal in the 77th minute. After Fulham took an early lead through Josh King in the 11th minute, Crystal Palace equalized via Tyrick Mitchell in the 36th, only for Fulham to regain the lead through Carlos Palacios in the 42nd. Mitchell scored his second goal in the 54th minute to level the score again. The winning goal came when Khalaily attempted to dribble past Fulham's goalkeeper Bernd Leno, and though the ball eventually fell to Eberechi Eze, it was Ben Chilwell who scored into an empty net after a supposed foul on Khalaily.

In the Championship, goalkeeper Daniel Peretz played the full 90 minutes for Southampton in their 1-1 draw against Lincoln City.
