Israeli News Program "Sixth Cabinet" Features Unfiltered Netanyahu Interview

The Israeli news program "Sixth Cabinet" aired a special segment featuring an unfiltered interview with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Host Noa Dromi accompanied Netanyahu for a day, documenting his travels via helicopter from Jerusalem to the Gaza Division, and then by secure convoy to the southern cities of Ofakim, Sderot, and Ashkelon. During the day, Netanyahu spoke openly about various topics including Iran and other fronts, politics, upcoming elections, his family, and threats from both within and outside Israel. He also discussed the perceived gap between public affection and criticism from media studios.

The program also presented a new poll conducted by "Sixth Cabinet" in collaboration with the Direct Polls Institute. The poll indicated that a majority of the public believes support for Gadi Eisenkot is a protest against Prime Minister Netanyahu. Furthermore, while most respondents identify as "lovers of the country," 16% admitted to hating Netanyahu.

Additionally, "Sixth Cabinet" delved into the investigation of a double murder in the Golan Heights. The report revealed that one of the victims was a state witness in a separate extortion and threats case, and the investigation led authorities to the suspects. Three individuals were indicted last week for allegedly plotting to eliminate the key witness. The program featured exclusive footage, escape routes, and incriminating evidence that aided in solving the case.

The program also included interviews with prominent figures. Actor and director Oded Kotler, a recipient of the Israel Prize, reflected on his life and views on the country's situation, stating that "peace victims were worth it" and questioning the ongoing retaliation against Gaza. He also accused many citizens of having "blood on their hands."

Tel Aviv Deputy Mayor and Democrats party member Meital Lehavi discussed her controversial past actions regarding a Tefillin stand and her views on religion in public spaces. She also criticized the campaign against the children of Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana and expressed her belief that "the country has slipped its mind."
