Hezbollah MP Questions Israeli Control Over Al-Tahir Ridge

A Lebanese Member of Parliament for Hezbollah, Aheeb Hamadeh, has cast doubt on Israeli claims of controlling the Al-Tahir Ridge. Hamadeh questioned how Israel could assert control while continuing to bomb and conduct airstrikes on the area without interruption. He pointed out that Israel had not released photographic evidence of control over the ridge or its weaponry. Furthermore, he questioned how Hezbollah operatives managed to escape if the Israeli forces had established a tight encirclement.

Hamadeh stated that even if Israel had taken control of the ridge, it would not represent a significant military disaster, especially after what he described as the "heroic battle" put up by the resistance. He implied that Hezbollah had strategically withdrawn or repositioned forces, suggesting that the alleged Israeli control was not absolute or decisive.
