Hapoel Eilat Signs Point Guard Bryant Crawford for Upcoming Season

Hapoel Eilat, newly promoted to the Israeli Basketball Premier League, has signed American point guard Bryant Crawford for the upcoming season. The 29-year-old, standing at 1.91 meters, joins the team after a stint with German club Löwen Braunschweig, where he averaged 14.6 points and 4.5 assists per game. Crawford brings extensive international experience, having previously played in Italy, Turkey, Lithuania, and for Hapoel Galil Elyon in Israel during the 2018-19 season.

Crawford began his professional career in Israel after playing college basketball at Wake Forest and going undrafted. His European journey included stops with Juventus Utena in Lithuania, Reggio Emilia in Italy, and multiple Turkish clubs including Samsunspor and Bursaspor, before his recent move to Germany.

Hapoel Eilat's coach, Oren Aharoni, expressed optimism about the signing, describing Crawford as a "quality and experienced guard" who will bring toughness and intensity to both ends of the court. Aharoni believes Crawford will quickly integrate with the team and help them achieve their season goals.
