Maccabi Tel Aviv Coach Confirms Key Player Fit for Hapoel Be'er Sheva Clash

Maccabi Tel Aviv coach Keni Miller has confirmed that defender Tyris Asante will be fit to play in the upcoming away match against Hapoel Be'er Sheva on Monday. The team is preparing for the challenge following their significant victory over Maccabi Haifa.

Miller spoke at a Rosh Hashanah food package packing event for "Brothers for the Emblem" and the Maccabi Foundation, alongside new signing Gabi Kanyikowski. "We know Be'er Sheva very well and have played them often since I arrived," Miller stated. "They are a very good team. We've shown good ability against them and achieved positive results in our last four or five games, but to get the result we want in such a difficult stadium, we will need a similar performance and to be at our peak."

He added that while Maccabi Tel Aviv defeated Hapoel Be'er Sheva in the Super Cup in July, Turner Stadium is a "very difficult pitch" requiring the team to be "at the top of our game."

Regarding the return of Gabi Kanyikowski, Miller expressed his excitement. "You will definitely see him as part of the squad on Monday, and I have no doubt he will take the field at some point. This is reinforcement we have waited a long time for, we are very happy to have him back in the yellow uniform and are very much looking forward to seeing him on Monday."
