Maccabi Tel Aviv Coach Confirms Key Player Fit for Hapoel Be'er Sheva Clash

Maccabi Tel Aviv coach Kenny Miller has confirmed that defender Tyris Asante will be available for the team's upcoming away match against Hapoel Be'er Sheva on Monday. The confirmation came during a press event for the "Brothers for the Symbol" and Maccabi Foundation's Rosh Hashanah food package assembly.

Miller expressed his team's familiarity with Hapoel Be'er Sheva, noting their frequent encounters since his arrival in Israel. He acknowledged Be'er Sheva as a strong opponent, but highlighted Maccabi's positive recent record against them, winning four or five of their last matches. However, Miller stressed the need for his team to perform at their peak to secure a favorable result at Turner Stadium, which he described as a very difficult venue.

"We beat them in the Super Cup in July, but Turner is a very tough field and we will need to be at the top of our game," Miller stated. He also provided an update on new signing Gabi Kanykovsky, confirming he will be part of the squad on Monday and is expected to play. Miller described Kanykovsky's return as a long-awaited reinforcement that the team is very happy to have back.
