Motorcyclist Arrested in Lod After Filming Dangerous Stunts
Israeli police arrested a suspect in Lod this week who filmed himself performing life-threatening traffic violations on a motorcycle, including near a police car, and later posted the footage on social media. The arrest was the result of a joint operation by the Border Police's tactical division and traffic police investigators.
After locating the suspect at his home in Lod, officers apprehended him in his bed. During the operation, clothing and gloves believed to have been used during the offenses were seized, along with the motorcycle allegedly used for the violations. Approximately 20 grams of a substance suspected to be cannabis were also found on the motorcycle.
The suspect was taken for further investigation by the traffic police's central unit. The article also mentions a separate incident where two young brothers, aged 3 and 5, were hospitalized in serious condition at Shaare Zedek Medical Center after consuming cannabis-infused candies, experiencing symptoms like dizziness and confusion.
