Motorcyclist Filmed Dangerous Stunts Near Police, Arrested at Home
Police in Lod arrested a suspect this week who filmed himself performing dangerous traffic violations on a motorcycle near a police car. The suspect then posted the footage on social media, which alerted law enforcement to his activities.
Following an investigation and surveillance, officers located the suspect's residence and apprehended him in his bed. During the arrest, clothing and gloves believed to have been used during the stunts were seized, along with the motorcycle.
Approximately 20 grams of suspected cannabis were also discovered during an inspection of the motorcycle. The suspect was taken into custody for further investigation by the Traffic Division's Central Unit. The police are continuing to examine the evidence collected.
