Beitar Jerusalem Owner Reveals Club's Record Budget Amidst Criticism
Barak Abramov, owner of the Beitar Jerusalem soccer club, has disclosed the team's precise budget in response to online criticism. In a special interview with the Sports Channel, Abramov stated that Beitar Jerusalem's total budget is 79 million shekels (approximately $21 million USD).
He further detailed that the player budget alone amounts to 33 million shekels. Abramov emphasized that this is the highest budget the club has seen since the era of former owner Arcadi Gaydamak. He contrasted Beitar's strategy with other clubs, noting that while other teams have generated significant income through player sales, Beitar chose not to sell any players.
