Footballer Rotem Hatu'el Denies Misconduct Amid Transfer Rejection

Footballer Rotem Hatu'el has responded to reports that he was not signed by Ironi Tiberias due to locker room objections. A representative for the team's owners, Shimon Hadari, stated that five players approached the club, insisting Hatu'el not be signed, claiming the "locker room doesn't want him." Hatu'el, who previously played for Hapoel Be'er Sheva and Hapoel Haifa, expressed surprise and anger at the situation, particularly at his father for speaking to the media without his knowledge. He stated he was unaware of the reasons for his rejection by Tiberias but respected their decision. "I am far from what they think," Hatu'el asserted, emphasizing that he should be judged on his professional abilities, especially after two difficult years. He denied being a "party animal," clarifying that his social life occurs during vacation periods and has never interfered with his training or game schedule. Hatu'el maintained he has never had a disciplinary issue throughout his career, challenging any coach to prove otherwise, and stated he would quit football if a single instance of misconduct was found. He believes he is a well-liked teammate and suggested that any hesitation might stem from his professional talent rather than social incompatibility.
