Southampton Rates Daniel Peretz's Transfer Second Best of Summer Window

English club Southampton has rated the transfer of Israeli goalkeeper Daniel Peretz as the second-best signing of their summer transfer window, according to a review by "Saints Marching." Peretz, 26, received a rating of 8 out of 10, placing him just behind Canadian forward Kyle Lafferty, who was rated 9. Peretz's signing was described as a "real steal" at approximately £6 million, especially after Southampton's promotion hopes were dashed. The review noted that "everyone at Southampton was in shock" when the permanent transfer was completed. Peretz's rating of 8 was shared with James Ward-Prowse and Nico Schlotterbeck, who were ranked below the Israeli goalkeeper in the assessment of the club's eight new signings.
