The rating places Peretz ahead of other signings like James Ward-Prowse and Koen Schlotterbeck. The publication expressed surprise at Peretz's acquisition, noting that "everyone at Southampton was in shock" when the 26-year-old signed permanently after the club's promotion hopes were dashed. They further highlighted the "steal" of the transfer, with Peretz reportedly costing only around £6 million.
