Motorcyclist Dies in Crash Near Ma'ale Adumim, Pushing Road Fatalities Past 300

A motorcyclist, approximately 30 years old, was killed overnight in a traffic accident on Highway 1 near Ma'ale Adumim. Emergency medical services (Magen David Adom, MDA) responded to the scene after receiving a report at 2:25 AM and performed extensive resuscitation efforts. However, they were ultimately forced to pronounce the rider dead at the scene.

Paramedics described finding the motorcyclist lying beside the road, unconscious, with severe, multi-system injuries, and a significant distance from his motorcycle. They provided advanced medical treatment, including prolonged CPR, but to no avail.

The accident occurred near the Good Samaritan interchange, according to MDA, while police stated it happened near the Mishor Adumim junction. Police officers from the Ma'ale Adumim station arrived at the scene, and traffic accident investigators from the Judea and Samaria district have opened an investigation into the circumstances of the crash.

This fatality brings the total number of road deaths in Israel since the beginning of 2026 to 303. The incident follows a series of fatal accidents in the past 24 hours, including the deaths of an elderly woman in Tel Aviv and two men in the Gilboa region.
