Ariel Mendy, the Senegalese defender, has emerged as Hapoel Haifa's most positive surprise of the season. Mendy, who previously played for Beitar Jerusalem last season before being released mid-season and subsequently joining MS Ashdod, has impressed significantly. This signing is considered a brilliant move by Hapoel Haifa, who secured Mendy on a one-year contract with an option for an additional year. His current salary is approximately 150,000 euros.
