Israel Issues Arrest Warrants for Eight Suspects in West Bank Nationalist Attacks

Israeli police and the Shin Bet security agency have identified eight suspects involved in nationalist attacks in the Palestinian towns of Qusra and Jalud, issuing arrest warrants for them. Most of the suspects are currently evading capture, and two previous attempts to apprehend them have failed, according to i24news.

The joint investigation, involving the Shin Bet and the Judea and Samaria Police District's inter-organizational command, is examining three separate incidents, focusing on two severe cases: the assault on a Palestinian couple and the attack on an NBC (Nuclear, Biological, Chemical) response team in Jalud. Reports indicate that between 30 and 40 individuals were present during these events, with approximately ten actively participating in the assaults. Some members of the convoy that arrived in Qusra later proceeded to participate in the attacks in Jalud.

Investigators have seized a pickup truck used by the rioters and are in possession of video evidence provided by Palestinians, which documents parts of the incidents, including the presence of IDF soldiers. Regarding the attack on the NBC team, cooperation from team members has been limited, with only one member providing testimony. The vehicle's window was repaired before it could be examined for fingerprints. Palestinian testimonies suggest that IDF forces arrived at the scene approximately 30 minutes after the incident, a timeline that is being investigated.
