New Hapoel Jerusalem basketball player Jalen Smith has arrived in Israel, expressing excitement about the team's ambitious project and their goal of reaching the EuroLeague. Smith, a familiar face in European basketball, landed on September 2nd and spoke to the press for the first time.

"The project here drew me in," Smith stated, "there is a great aspiration and desire to reach the EuroLeague." He compared the current team's ambition to his previous experience in the EuroLeague, noting it was a good fit for both parties.
