Police Seize Millions in Drugs from Horse Farm

Israeli police have confiscated approximately 13 kilograms of suspected cocaine and ketamine, with an estimated street value of millions of shekels, from a horse farm in central Israel. The drugs were reportedly intended for distribution.

During a raid conducted about two weeks ago by the Jerusalem District's Central Unit, officers also seized tens of thousands of shekels in cash. The operation followed a covert investigation.

Two suspects were arrested in connection with the seizure. A 48-year-old resident of central Israel is suspected of possessing the drugs, while a 51-year-old taxi driver, also from central Israel, is believed to have been involved in their distribution. Both men have had their detention extended by the court, and a statement of claim has been filed against them, with indictments expected.

Sergeant Major Rotem Dahan of the Central Unit stated that police are continuously working to identify and apprehend those involved in distributing dangerous drugs commercially, utilizing extensive technological and operational resources to disrupt drug supply chains across the country.
