Singer Liran Levi Releases New Song Promoting Unity and Love

Singer and cantor Liran Levi has released a new original song titled 'Love Your Neighbor as Yourself' ('Ve'ahavta Le're'acha Kamocha'). Levi wrote both the lyrics and music for the song, which aims to convey a message of Jewish unity and love, particularly relevant in current times.

Levi, who has been performing for about 25 years as a singer, cantor, and liturgical poet at events and in communities worldwide, stated that he wanted to create a song that every Jew could connect with. He chose the biblical phrase 'Love your neighbor as yourself' as the central theme, believing it touches a deep aspect of Jewish identity and speaks to everyone regardless of their beliefs, background, or location.

"In a time when it's very easy to focus on what divides us, I wanted to remind people of the simple, great thing that connects us. We can think differently, look different, and live differently, and still love," Levi said. "This song is, for me, a small prayer for love of Israel."

In addition to his music career, Levi previously taught in a youth program and is involved in media, hosting programs and reporting for the Hidabroot channel. He has been active in promoting messages of unconditional love and unity among the Jewish people. This new song is part of a broader effort to strengthen connections within the nation.
