Israel Prepares for Potential Surprise Iranian Attack

The Israeli military is on high alert and preparing for a potential surprise attack from Iran, according to a senior source in the defense establishment cited by the Hebrew website Walla. The Operations Directorate has been undertaking top-level defensive preparations across all sectors for an extended period.

Recent technological enhancements have bolstered the defense of Israel's home front. These measures are being implemented in light of Iran's recent attacks on U.S. military bases in Jordan. Following these developments, the head of the Operations Directorate has instructed the General Staff to prepare for scenarios where Iran might launch a surprise assault on Israel.

In such an event, the Israeli military might be required to respond independently or in coordination with the United States. The military leadership, including Chief of Staff Zamir, is reportedly reviewing both defensive and offensive operational plans every few days, making adjustments based on evolving circumstances.
