Acre Opens School Year With New School Inauguration

The 2023-2024 school year commenced as scheduled in all educational institutions in Acre on Tuesday morning. Mayor Ohad Shagav led an extensive tour of schools across the city, accompanied by City Manager Golan Givaon, Director of the Education Department Yair Ohayon, and Deputy Mayor Inbal Gal. During the tour, city officials spoke with students and staff, wishing them a fruitful, safe, and successful academic year. The mayor also closely examined road safety measures near educational facilities with the city's Road Safety Department head, Amos Trabelsi.

As part of the opening day events, a dedication ceremony was held for the new "Engaz" school, serving the city's Arab community. The ceremony was attended by the mayor, Deputy Mayor Adham Jamal, city council members, and educators. The municipal administration extended greetings to all students, parents, and teaching staff, wishing them a successful and productive school year.
