Daniel Bluman Wins Silver Medal at Prestigious Hampton Classic

Israeli equestrian Daniel Bluman, currently ranked sixth globally, secured a silver medal at the two-star Grand Prix competition during the prestigious Hampton Classic in New York. Bluman, riding his horse Gemma W, demonstrated a strong performance, completing the first round without faults and advancing to the jump-off.

In the decisive jump-off, Bluman clocked a fast time of 41.60 seconds, earning him second place and a prize of $14,000. This achievement follows his participation in the World Championships in Aachen just a week prior.

Another Israeli rider, Stella Wasserman, who recently joined the Israeli national jumping team, also competed. Riding A Man After Midnight Z, Wasserman finished in 15th place.

Bluman later competed in the five-star Grand Prix, which offered a total prize pool of $400,000. Riding the nine-year-old mare Malina, he finished 22nd in this higher-level event.

The Hampton Classic is one of the most esteemed equestrian events in the United States, held annually on Long Island, New York. It attracts top international riders and features competitions across various high-level categories with substantial prize money.
