Daniel Bluman Wins Silver Medal at Hampton Classic Grand Prix

Israeli equestrian Daniel Bluman, currently ranked sixth in the world, secured a silver medal at the two-star Grand Prix competition held as part of the prestigious Hampton Classic in New York. Bluman competed aboard his horse Gemma W, recovering from the World Championships in Aachen held just a week prior.

In the first round, Bluman completed a clear course without faults, advancing to the decisive jump-off. There, he achieved a fast time of 41.60 seconds, earning him second place and a prize of $14,000.

Stella Wasserman, a recent addition to the Israeli show jumping team, also participated with her horse A Man After Midnight Z, finishing in 15th place.

Bluman later competed in the five-star Grand Prix, which offered a total prize pool of $400,000. Riding his nine-year-old mare Malina, who is gaining experience in high-level competitions, he finished in 22nd place.

The Hampton Classic is one of the most esteemed equestrian events in the United States, taking place annually on Long Island, New York. It attracts top riders globally and features competitions across the highest levels, offering substantial prize money.
