Rotem Sela Denies Political Aspirations, Cites 'Never Say Never'

Israeli presenter and model Rotem Sela, known for her outspoken political views on social media, has addressed speculation about her entering politics. In a recent interview with Ma'ko, Sela stated that a political career is not currently in her plans, responding to a question about considering it with, "Not yet, we are not there." However, she did not entirely rule out the possibility for the future, adding, "Currently it is not in my plans, but you know, never say never."

Sela has been vocal about her opinions, recently defending journalist Guy Peleg against false rumors concerning his teenage daughter. The rumors alleged that the 17-year-old had spied for Iran and sent them sensitive information following the start of Operation 'Lion's Roar'. Sela condemned the spread of such falsehoods, questioning the lack of boundaries when it comes to targeting children of journalists. She described the Telegram channels disseminating fake news about innocent children as using "digital weapons" with "real, immense, and difficult consequences."
