Rotem Sela, a prominent Israeli TV host, actress, and model, marks her 43rd birthday on August 16. Her career began unexpectedly at age 15 when a modeling agent discovered her in a mall. Initially hesitant, she started modeling after her parents were convinced, leading to early work in catalogs and fashion shows.

At 18, Sela paused her modeling career to serve in the Israeli Navy and later traveled in South America. Upon returning, she resumed modeling successfully. Transitioning to television came after an interview on the show "Good Evening with Guy Pines," which led to a role as a reporter before she became a prime-time host.
