Israel Strikes Near Southern Lebanon Towns After Intercepting 'Suspicious Aerial Target'

Lebanese sources reported on Wednesday morning that the Israeli military conducted two airstrikes in the vicinity of the southern Lebanese towns of Kfar Rumman and Arabalim. The Israeli military, in response, stated that it had launched interceptor missiles towards a "suspicious aerial target" that it claimed had crossed from Lebanese territory into Israel. The IDF further elaborated in a statement that following alerts for a hostile aircraft intrusion in several northern areas, interceptor missiles were fired at the suspected target originating from Lebanon. The results of the interception attempts are currently under review, with no reported injuries. The military also confirmed that projectile and missile launch alerts were activated as a result of the interception attempts.
