Ofer Winter Party Slams Smotrich Over Election Threshold Remarks

The 'Amcha Yisrael' party, led by Ofer Winter, has responded sharply to remarks made by Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich. Smotrich had stated at a conference that Winter was speaking on behalf of the public despite his party "struggling to cross the electoral threshold." In its response, Amcha Yisrael declared that "the people demand new right-wing leadership, clean and untainted by the October 7th failure." The party pledged to ensure the genuine integration of Haredim into the IDF and to fully support soldiers. They explicitly stated they would not serve as a "political shield" for United Torah Judaism leaders Moshe Gafni and Yitzhak Goldknopf at the expense of those serving, as they claimed occurred in the current government.
