Netanyahu's Ex-Spokesman Hints at Manipulation Behind MK Gottlieb's Statements

Member of Knesset Tally Gottlieb has ignited a significant controversy with her recent statements against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his associates, including threats to resign from the Likud party if she does not receive a high placement on the party's electoral slate. Gottlieb accused Yair Netanyahu, the Prime Minister's son, of acting on behalf of Yonatan Urich, a former Netanyahu aide, alleging that Urich intentionally creates conflict and division among various figures close to the Prime Minister. She specifically cited leaked correspondence between Urich and another individual, claiming Urich manufactured disputes between Defense Minister Yoav Gallant and IDF Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi, and also between Gallant and the Prime Minister. Gottlieb further asserted that Yair Netanyahu is a "puppet on a remote control" controlled by Urich, who she claims is fueling a non-existent conflict between Gottlieb and the Prime Minister, describing Urich's divisiveness as his "art."

Eli Fuld, a former spokesperson for Netanyahu, unexpectedly intervened in the dispute. He questioned Gottlieb's timing in revealing these accusations, reminding her of her previous public support and vocal defense during his and Urich's arrest warrant extension hearings, which she framed as protesting injustice in a "fake investigation." Fuld also posed a pointed question, asking Gottlieb to disclose who had been directing her and writing her social media posts for a period. This remark led to widespread speculation online about whom Fuld was alluding to, suggesting that Gottlieb's controversial tweets might have been dictated by an external party.
