IDF Deep Raids in Southern Lebanon Uncover Hezbollah Weapons Cache
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have conducted extensive operations in southern Lebanon, targeting Hezbollah's military infrastructure. Forces operating under Division 91, including combat teams from Brigades 769, 4, and 55, are engaged in clearing the area of threats and dismantling the terrorist organization's military capabilities.
During searches, IDF soldiers discovered and confiscated a significant cache of Hezbollah weapons and military equipment. This included guided anti-tank missiles, rocket launchers, RPGs, explosive charges, grenades, Kalashnikov rifles, vests, uniforms, and helmets. The IDF stated that these items were used by Hezbollah operatives.
In addition to seizing weapons, the IDF forces are systematically destroying Hezbollah's terror infrastructure. The military noted that these facilities were often located within civilian areas, a tactic aimed at preventing future reconstruction and thwarting attacks against Israel. The operations are part of an ongoing effort to neutralize threats emanating from Lebanon.
