Naval Cadets Emphasize Torah and Military Service Integration

The Tzelash organization hosted an Elul gathering at Givat HaTachmoshet (Ammunition Hill) to mark the completion of the naval officers' course. The event was attended by the graduating cadets, soldiers, and the general public.

During discussions at the gathering, the naval cadets stated, "Torah and the army must go together, even in the most elite units of the IDF." The event featured music and singing in preparation for the High Holy Days, alongside conversations with the newly graduated cadets.

Rabbi Peretz Einhorn, chairman of the Tzelash organization, spoke about the importance of integrating Torah study during military service. He stated, "Raising the banner of Torah in the army is a national mission that is a top priority, for the sake of unity and connecting the hearts of all the people of Israel."

Rabbi Pinchas Etzion, head of the Hadar program, also addressed the soldiers and program alumni, concluding, "Our students and soldiers continue to sanctify God's name wherever they are."

The singer and artist Amihai Plesser also participated in the event.
