Young Man Suspected of Ebola Tests Negative at Ichilov Hospital
Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv announced that a young man in his 20s, who arrived at the facility on Tuesday with suspected Ebola symptoms, has tested negative for the virus in his initial examination. Despite the negative result, he will remain in a dedicated isolation ward for an additional two days, in accordance with Ministry of Health guidelines, pending a second test.
The hospital had prepared an isolation wing in advance in case of a positive diagnosis. The young man's arrival prompted precautionary measures, including the activation of the isolation unit.
