Dia Saba Stars as Amedspor Defeats Trabzonspor in Turkish League
Israeli footballer Dia Saba played a pivotal role in Amedspor's dramatic 2-1 victory over Trabzonspor, a team featuring Mohamed Salah, in the Turkish league on Monday. Saba, who played the full 90 minutes, was instrumental in both of Amedspor's goals.
Trabzonspor took an early lead in the 11th minute with a goal from Mohamed Salah. Just before halftime, Saba earned a penalty for Amedspor. Although his teammate Mbaye Diagne missed the initial penalty, Yira Sor managed to score the rebound, leveling the game.
The winning goal came in the 90th minute when Saba delivered a free-kick that led to a cross from Mehmet Yesil, allowing Gifty Orban to score the decisive goal for Amedspor.
With this victory, Amedspor has secured six points out of a possible nine after three matches, placing them sixth in the league standings.
